CRM 2011 - implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms

CRM 2011 setup fails. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Setup Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Server.AddLicenseAction failed. Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms. Retry Cancel

After this installation finished unsuccessful and when try again to installed from the setup, its not installing

When I check my Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs The CRM 2011 is shown as installed some 540MB. Even I try to remove from there, it does nothing. Please help me on this.

    Thanks Bhavesh for the help.  Unfortunately, that KB does not resolve the issue for me.  The problem is MS Dynamics requires licenses to run or uninstall.

    The out of the box license install from Microsoft is not FIPS compliant; therefore, you can't add licenses.  This creates a cyclical effect of not being able to cancel the install, not being able to re install and not being able to uninstall.  It's quite embarrassing that Microsoft didn't test their software against their own OS setting.

    I resolved the matter by deleting the MSCRM_CONFIG database.  Then I could proceed with the uninstall and reinstall with FIPS compliance turned off at the OS level.
