Restricting access to cases based on owner or security role

How can I restrict access to certain cases based on either the owner being a team or based on a security role? We use the same entity (Case) for all of our cases; however, some cases have confidential information that only a couple users should have access to. Confidential information may be listed in the description and timeline so I need to hide the case completely and not just certain fields.

Hi,

You can set team owners for Case records to restrict access to Case records.
For members outside the team, if their read permissions for Case records are at the user level, they will not see the records inside the team.

Only users with read permissions at the business unit level or above can see records within the team.
