one of our client A has acquired companies B, C, D, and E, each with separate Dynamics 365 tenants, and now wants to bring them into a Client A tenant with separate environments for each to ensure data isolation.  can this migration be possible in dynamics 365 environment.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
    You can!
You can use the tenant-to-tenant migration feature to request an environment in one tenant be moved* to another tenant.
But this request need to be submitted to Microsoft support team.

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it answer your question! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah

    Hi Leah,

Thank you very much for your answer.

this migration mentioned in the shared article works for one-to-one tenant migration.  for an example, if customer A has acquired customer B and migrated to its own tenant.  now customer A has acquired C and D he needs them to be migrated to his tenant with data isolation. can we migrate them and have separate them with environment groups or will all the migrated be merged into single environment.

    regards
    Sasidharan. R

    Hi,
It will be a separate environment after migration.
If the data does not interact between companies, it is recommended that you use different environments for each company.
An environment is a container to separate apps that might have different roles, security requirements, or target audiences.
You can confirm it with support when you submit your migration request.
