Hi Can you help me understand pros and cons for setting Generate leads without matching yes and no.  Obvously Yes will increase so  I do not  really get  who and when to use No?

    Hi ryojii,

    When difference of the settings in the Update contact/leads, Setting the Generate leads without matching  to No produces following three effects.

    1. When a form is submitted with Update contact/leads set to Contacts and leads or Only leads, the system applies the Lead matching strategy to look for an existing lead that matches the submission.
    2. When a form is submitted with Update contact/leads set to Only contacts, leads are never created or updates, so the Lead matching strategy setting is ignored and has no effect.
    3. When a landing page type form is submitted with Update contact/leads set to No update, leads are not created or updated, so the Lead matching strategy setting is not required and has no effect.

    Hi Steve, thank you. Marketers including me are concerned on No1 No might narrow possibilities by updateding the previous record on lead so would you like to suggest we should use Yes in this case right?  Can you specify when we need to match and update the Lead?
