Hi, please show me a way to solve this problem. I have a field which will be automatically updated each time without opening an appropriate form. I've written down some jscript code which works when I update a card. Now I want to make this code run without opening a card. Is it possible to do via Plugins? If yes, please show me a way.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello Mary,

Can you elaborate a little more on this requirement even you have resolved it.

I would like to work on it for my knowledge.

I know the previous reply may not helped you, pointing to MSDN links do not help, anybody can do that.

At the same time, not to spoon feed also.

Anyways, If you can elaborate more on this business scenario, i would like to give a try.

Now, Plugin is a kind of Trigger, it only executes when something happens in DB table. Without opening a form how and what kind of JSCRIPT you have written that executes and on which method. If i can understand that scenario i may write a plugin too.

    Thanks.

Hi, I have not resolved this problem. Here is a description:

I have a "new_date" date type field and "new_count" int type field in the custom Contract entity. I need to store at the "new_count" field the difference between ToDay() and "new_date". I mean how much time has passed since the "new_date".

If your plugin works, please share it with me.

    Thanks in advance!
