I've gotten my allocation rules setup and have generated the allocation journal with success; however, the journal lines created numbered over 5,000 lines. If I export the 5000 lines to excel and summarize by account and financial dimensions, it can be summarized in only 5 lines. Is it possible to get the allocation journal to create only these 5 lines instead of over 5,000 lines it is currently creating?

I'm not sure either of those would be an improvement from just summarizing the data in excel beforehand and importing that into a general journal.
