Dynamics CRM - Cannot open web resource via web resource id?

I am trying to open an HTML web resource via URL. 

My web resource ID is: DF0F3C83-0A47-E711-80E2-005056BA77B6 according to the WebResourcebase table.

When I use this URL:  https://crm/crmorg/cs/dialog/rundialog.aspx?DialogId=DF0F3C83-0A47-E711-80E2-005056BA77B6&EntityName=task&ObjectId=%7bA51B8F23-7147-E711-80E2-005056BA77B6%7d

I get: "Record is unavailable"

I have also tried the "WebResourceIdUnique" GUID, but that shows same message.

Have I got the URL wrong? Or is it some other GUID needed?

    Try this URL crm/.../webResourceName

    I'd quite like to be able to open the web resource via URL for this particular case.

    The RunDialog.aspx page is only used to run a CRM dialog (which is a type of process), not a Web Resource

    Use Xrm.Utility.openWebResource("nameofwebResource", customParameters); to open webresource. The customParameters is if you want to send some custom parameters.
