I am working on CRM with the model driven app . I have done following things.

1) Made Allow Quick create Checked on Task, Appointment,Phone call.

2)Added Three of the entities in App designer and selected the quick create form .

After doing these changes as well i cant see any changes on screen.

what else i need to do?

Thanks

Did anybody find a solution for this? We are having a similar issue between our production and sandbox instances - I've just done a full solution copy and on our sandbox instance it's showing our activities correctly but on the production instance the menu only has one, which is identical in quick create settings to the others that are missing.

    Hi All,

I observed one thing so this behaviour is happening according to that.

Below are the scenarios i have observed.

(Note : I have added the below entities to be disply on the Sitemap: Task,Account,Contact,Policy, etc).

1)When i Select Task on site map and press F5 then only Task is visible in + button.(below is my site map)

2)when i select Account On site map and do not refresh the page it Stays the same (ie Task) but after refreshing(F5) it changes and shows me Appointment,Task , Phone call.

3)Again When i Select Contact Entity on Sitemap and do not refresh the page it stays the same i.e (Appointment,Task , Phone call.) but after and after refreshing(F5) it changes and shows me only Appointment, Phone call.

4)Again when i select the other entity on Sitemap after refereshing the page it shows me Appointment,Task , Phone call.

So according to this Do we have any configuration to view the Activities on + button based on entities selected  on site map?

I have checked this behaviour multiple times to make this confirm and it is consistent.

    Hi Mona,

Ctrl+F5 forces a cache refresh, and will guarantee that if the content is changed, you will get the new content.

You mentioned that you can’t use other browser, you can try to use incognito window of Chrome, do these steps again and publish them.

    Regards,

    Hi,

I don't think so. And if you see Allow Quick Create is disabled by Design and you won't be able to make any modification.

As you said earlier it is appearing for sometime and when you don cntrl+F5 it is disappearing. Have you tried in other browser?

Is this happening in all model driven app or only in specific model driven app?

At last you can log support ticket with microsoft.

I just observed one thing,For Appointment ,task ,phonecall entities are ticked as Allow for Quick create . But for  the ActivityPointer entity ¨Allow quick create " is unchecked.

is it happening because of that?
