Good afternoon everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with material reservation for a declared finished item on a production order.

According to the error log, the material cannot be picked from the picking location because there is no stock available; however, the on-hand list shows sufficient availability and the material does not appear to be reserved elsewhere.

Can you help me understand what is causing this error?

Hi Andrea,

It is a weird error as how you describe it. Do you have this issue for all items and all production orders, a selection, or is this one sole incident? Can it be caused by a unit of measure conversion?

Hi Andrè,

Just this production order.

It shouldn't be a conversione problem, we are talking about an item number which is consumed at meters

Can you check on item transaction - what is the status of the transaction pertaining to your Production ordr?

picked / Physical reserved?

Hi,

Ideally when you created or released production order the pick list item should have inventory transactions as reserved physical, can you check if that is still there?

Go to Inventory transactions > Filter on number (Production order) , and validate if you have pick list item line and what is the status here
