List of CRM user IDs

Hello,

We just moved from Salesforce CRM to MS Dynamics CRM platform.

My requirement is : I need to populate the user IDs (CRM User Id) on the contacts list.

When I am looking on the shareowner list view; I could find user ids which are SFDC(salesforce) user IDs.

I even tried checking in settings> security > users.

There is no "user id" column.

I can see the CRM user ID if I click on that user record. But I obviously cant click on 3000 user records and collect ids.

Where will I find the user IDs?

Thanks,

Anwaya

Hi Anwaya, In Dynamics the User ID is the GUID of the Record, you can retrieve this for all your users in CRM going to Settings > Security > Users and click the export to Excel. Once you open the Excel, expand Column A, this will contain the IDs.

    Hope that helps :)

    Hi Anwaya

    Go to advanced find>>Look for users>>click on edit columns>>add columns>>select user name/id>>click ok>>click results>>click export to excel

This is how advanced find works: www.dynamics101.com/use-advanced-find-dynamics-crm-2013

Advanced find is present on the blue navigation bar, next to global search

    Hi Anwaya,

Navigate to Settings--> Security --> Users

Here you will see the list of CRM users.

Click on "Export to Excel" in the command bar and select "Dynamics worksheet".

A new window opens as follows.

Add the columns if any you require and click on "Export".

The file will be imported to an Excel Sheet. If you open that Excel sheet, the first column gives you the idea of CRM user IDs which is basically a GUID.

    Hello Raz,

    Thank so much. That helped.

I think I confused before between CRM and sfdc id.

    Thanks again.

    Best,

    Anwaya
