Hi,

working on an outsourcing company and when one of our customers changed CRM version so our surveillance stopped working.

We run software HP VUGEN (Virtual User generator) which emulates a Web browser and it worked well in version 8.2.2 but not now when we get  HTTP Error 401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied.
We use in Browser Emalation, User-Agent String,

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.2; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; InfoPath.3; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)
From a VUGEN Trace,

Action.c(44):     User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.2; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4
Action.c(44):     322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; InfoPath.3; .NET4.0C;
Action.c(44):      .NET4.0E)\r\n
Action.c(44):     Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate\r\n
Action.c(44):     Accept-Language: sv\r\n
Action.c(44):     Accept: */*\r\n
Action.c(44):     Connection: Keep-Alive\r\n
Action.c(44):     Host: telluscrmprd:5555\r\n
Action.c(44):     \r\n
Action.c(44): t=2774ms: 364-byte response headers for "telluscrmprd/.../main.aspx" (RelFrameId=1, Internal ID=1)
Action.c(44):     HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized\r\n
Have tried a number of different variants but unfortunately failed with the authorization. I would appreciate if I could get a tip on how the emulation can be changed so the login to the application goes well again.
Thank you in advance,
ronander

    Hi,

    During upgrades, IP address and ports will also updates and that effects the integration that are under DMZs. make sure opening ports for the required IPs

    Hi,

    thanks for the tip, but there is no such problems, I can run the application manually from a IE Browser from the same IP as VUGEN software is running.

    One possibility is the TLS version. CRM Online 9.0 only supports TLS 1.2 or higher, whereas CRM 8.x and earlier supported TLS 1.0 and 1.1

    Hello David,

    and thank you for your tip.

    I have now tried all four possibilities below, but unfortunately without success.

    web_set_sockets_option("SSL_VERSION", "TLS1.2");

    web_set_sockets_option("SSL_VERSION", "2");

    web_set_sockets_option("SSL_VERSION", "3");

    web_set_sockets_option("SSL_VERSION", "2&3");

    Hi,

    the solution for me was to use kerberos cross-realm authentication, then it works good again.
