Hi, I am trying to understand the difference between Set session timeout and Set Inactivity timeout in Dynamics 365 CE Online?
Can you please help me understand with an example?
I am assuming session timeout happens when the session is inactive and I am not sure why there is Set Inactivity Time out.
Thanks.
Hello,
Inactivity timeout: is the amount of time a user can be inactive before the user's session times out and closes and it only affects user browser sessions. docs.microsoft.com/.../session-idle-timeout
Session timeout: the session timeout is set to 24 hours, which means that a user does not need to re-enter their login details for up to 24 hours.
Also, check this link: www.cloudfronts.com/.../
Thanks!
