Plugin auto update field value from related account

Hi,

Can any one suggest that i have a two entity "account, case " both entity have same field "A" i want to do that when we create a case automatically update field "A" from related account . using plugin.

Hi

You can definitely do that using a plugin that triggers on Create of Case and updates the account.

But you can simply create a Real-Time workflow on create of the case and update the account field - This is a no code solution and works like plugin

You need to write a custom code Plugin or Real-time workflow on create of your other entity.

Within the custom code, you need to first retrieve the account based on the responsive field ("A") and then update that account
