Hello,

I am new to MS Dynamics GO and EDI.  In my currently profile, I require to integrate Dynamics GP with EDI.

Would request if some one can please provide me with detailed step by step instructions of integrating the same as per below given requirements:

"The integration sets that are required are:

855, 850, 856, & 810 (PO's / Order Acknowledgements / Ship Notifications / Invoices)"

The issue is that each of the sets mentioned above require different formats for different trading partners.  Then the standard for EDI is upgraded and the formats change.  You then have to re-write any custom code and test again....and again...and again.  Just for your one shop.

There are several excellent EDI vendors that have plug and play components for GP.  They are not in-expensive but they are worth the investment.

    Try:

    www.datamasons.com

    www.accellos.com

    www.redtailsolutions.com

There are others is you search EDI GP on the web but I know these and all are good options (not to suggest that others are not good options as well)

Thanks Richard for the reply.  I have to integrate 1EDISource with GP for all above mentioned sets.  Would be glad if you can assist me with some code or blog or tutorial anything that I can be a help in the above mentioned tasks.

    Regards,

    Rahul

There are a lot of tables to be hit and no one has a complete definition.  There are resource descriptions available online and lots of lists of tables.  However, you might want to look at Information Flow and Posting from our website.  It takes each transaction and defines the tables hit.  With this, you can manually enter a transaction that you want to create/import to/from EDI and look at the tables we list to see what happens.
