Rules in Business central

Hey guys,

We have been trying out business central for a few months and we keep running into issues.
Is there any way to set up a warning that would warn a person that the invoice that he is trying to post has an item that has a lower price than the purchasing price?
Also, maybe there is a way to create similar warnings? For example did you really mean to add Vendor X to the purchase order (We have a few vendors that have very similar names and they get mixed up).
I have the same question (0)

That looks interesting but we don't have access to the code or power automate. I'm guessing there is no simple solution to this.

Yes, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central offers customization options through its built-in features and extensions. For your first requirement, you can set up a validation rule or a workflow that checks the item's purchasing price against the invoice price before posting. Similarly, for your second requirement, you can create a validation rule or a customized prompt that alerts users when they select a vendor with a name similar to others in the system, helping prevent errors in purchase orders. These customizations can enhance accuracy and efficiency within your Business Central environment.

As of now, as far as I know, some of the requirements you mentioned require customization.
The system has standard notifications, and there are also many notifications integrated in the code. Unfortunately, these cannot be added manually on the client.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
