When trying to click the "show file" selection (highlighted below) when viewing attachments, one of our Windows 10 systems attempts to open the file instead of showing it in the preview pane. I believe it is a link to ActiveX somehow? Thanks in advance.

I realize this topic is very old, but I would like to share my experience here. Perhaps this program does not allow displaying a pdf file due to the fact that its structure seems incorrect to it or an error is possible. To display documents, I use the service https://pdfliner.com/, which helps me when creating legal documents, reports, filling out receipts. It is very convenient and easy to use, I can correct the document using any available gadget, and also use it to collect electronic signatures. I highly recommend trying it.
Thank you for the reply. I did read through this and to my understanding this would or cannot be the issue. The issue I have involves PDFs which are quite old as a file type. The PDF preview also works in all other clients. Unless there is something in the blog post I am missing?
