Before in Ax 2009, we could change the inventory dimensions for posted transactions through Inventory Management --> Item Details --> Function --> Edit Dimensions.

where is this feature in Ax 2012 ? ??? or it has been depreciated !!!

it no longer exists as I discovered a couple of years ago (well I never found it, not sure I ever saw an official statement). A sad loss because it used to be a quick change, but that was probably the issue with the tracking and traceability. You have to use the transfer journal now to amend the dimension.
