Negative discount

Hi all,

has anyone of you an idea how to manage negative discounts in D365 Commerce ? This requirement happens regularly in some industries, especially with the current economic situation.

We could use misc charges at the line level, but it adds a lot or complexity in terms of GL Postings, relationship with other discounts that may apply, sales reporting, etc.

    Hi Brice F,

    Commerce has an All discounts page and a Pricing and discounts management workspace, both of which you can use to create a new discount of any type.

    to my knowledge, standard Commerce discounts do not allow negative discounts :

    My question was then if anybody has experienced workarounds successfully in such business cases.

    Negative discounts are not allowed in commerce. But there is a parameter in the Commerce Price parameters which allows Price adjustments to increase the price. Currently they are only allowed for Discount Price and not for amount off or percentage off, but this will be fixed in 10.0.30 see kb 700538
