Having deployed our solution the one criticism we get is from users with resolutions less than 1920x1080 Quite simply - the top 1/3 to 1/2 is wasted by the ribbon or oversized headers.

Not an uncommon issue with Outlook etc but is there a way to get more than 50% of the screen able to view the form, rather than waste so much of it on the fluffy top sections?

I know it works much better with 1920x1080 screens but it is a really inefficient use of the screen layout.

Can this be changed in settings?

    As far as I know there are no settings where you can change this. Also any customizations you make to change this is not supported by Microsoft. There's a big chance it will break with future updates.

    I do agree with you that it's not optimal. Have a look at this site, and see if there's already an issue there and vote for it, if not, create it: crmideas.dynamics.com/.../dynamics-crm

    Hi.

    I got the same feedback from my users. We did hide the images (display Image Option in Form properties) on most of the forms, which brought at least a little Bit more space.

    And We use a Navigation control (webresource) in the footer to display our sections in tabs, so we do not need to display the section headings
