Please can I get assistance with reference to released item master fields, their descriptions, tables and relations .

Thank you for your response , I'm looking for details around the explanation of each field in released items , e.g in the manage stock fields below , item data , what is the purpose of the field 'manual' . What is the effect of leaving this field blank ?
Perhaps this is a better explanation of what I am trying to achieve in released products
Table: Invoices,
Table description: Master Table which stores information of sales documents;
Field Name: Status;
Field Name Description: Document Type;
Possible Values: 8 - Sales Order, 9 - Sales Invoice, 10- Credit order, 11 - Credit Memo
