Unable to hide "Change view" option for Lookup fields - UCI app D365 v9 Onpremise

Hi ,

I am working on D365 V9 on premise and using UCI app. I would like to hide "Change View " option for few lookup fields as I have set some custom filters for those lookups.
"Change view" option is visible even after trying the below options:
1. Turned off the View selector on lookup properties
2. The view selector is turned on for only selected views(I have selected custom view in my case) and published the form. But I am able to select all the other views as well on the UI when I click on Change View.

.
Could any one please help me in figuring out a supported way to hide the "Change view" option for the lookup fields. Is this a product issue in onpremise UCI? Because the above solutions are working well in online version but not in on-premise.

Many Thanks!

In Product form, I think some fields doesn't have the Additional properties section and it is by design. May I know which lookup field you are trying to change, is it a custom look up.

I was able to reproduce your issue on build 9.0.20.7 on premise and not in online.  I do not see any supported way to get around this for on premise.  You can create a case with Microsoft to have this looked into further.

    Hello Sneha,

Unified Interface on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement v9.0 on-premise is very limited and has a lot of parity gaps or even issues that have been fixed online.
So I'm not surprised that this scenario isn't supported on the Unified Interface version that runs with on-premise v9.0

That being said, I'm curious as to why you would want to deploy Unified Interface on-premise and not use the web client instead?

It's important that to consider that the web client on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement on-premise is NOT deprecated.
This is specifically called out here:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/model-driven-apps/faqs-transition-unified-interface#how-does-this-move-impact-on-premises-customer-and-what-will-happen-when-the-web-client-is-deprecated-do-web-client-forms-become-unsupported
So the web client will still be supported for them, as long as their on-premise version is supported.
Support lifecycle for every product is detailed here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/search

In case you absolutely want to use Unified Interface on-premise, I advise that you wait for the next version.

    Henry
