Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived)

Error Message

When trying to access the transaction entry screen on the purchasing tab I guess this error message. Your previous transaction-level posting session has not finished processing. Please allow time for it to finish. If you believe it has failed, log out of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Log back in to recover transactions. I even get this message when trying to view transactions within a batch. Please help.

    Hi Cory,

    If you log in as a different person does it work? My recommendation is to have everybody log out (the ACTIVITY table in the DYNAMICS db should not have any records) and then clear tables SY00800 and SY00801 in the Dynamics database. Also, with everyone logged out, the DEX_LOCK and the DEX_SESSION tables in the tempdb should also be cleared.
