Hi ,

The Route card is normally posted automatically when we start the production order .

Unfortunately the route card has not posted for some work order due to the setting change .

can you please give a solution how to re post the route for that work orders .

Thanks

Shuhaib

Can't you just post the un-posted route card journals manually - or is the problem that the route card wasn't created at start? I don't know of any easy way to create a route card journal.

repost? If it is created and not posted go to the route card and press post. If it was not created create a new one and do this from the original quantity and then post.

Track down the user that has changed the setting on start, otherwise you will see more of these!

The Route cards (and picking journals) are posted based on the "Automatic route consumption" in the start, finish operation or report as finished production dialogues.

You can set this to "Always" (will post for all operations in route), "Route group dependent" (Based on the route group for the operation in a route) or "Never" (will not post any route journals at all).

These settings are defined for each user and it remembers the last settings when posting. So I guess somebody has this set to "Never".

There are many ways to go about this, but the three easiest is:

    1. If there are just a few then I would post these manually.

    2. You can post these when reporting as finished for these orders. Then just change the "Automatic route consumption" in the RAF dialogue, but only for that order. You can risk posting duplicates.

    3. If there are no other transactions posted you can revert status to scheduled for these orders and start them again.

    HI Fredrik ,

Both start and RAF is done but the rout card is not created and Picking journal and Finished good is posted .

There are many of the route to be created.

is there any easiest way to create the route card   from the work order directly .

    thanks

Go to the Production Order Overview grid and locate the order.

Select the View tab and Picking List (It will show nothing)

Go to the end three arrows >>> and select picking list and the create lines option.

Set the proposal to quantity, set any other defaults you require.

    Press OK

If you have posted lines do a full reversal and post actuals is a normal way to correct this.

Route card is similar but there is no quick fix, you will need to add your many routes in manually.

Set the proposal to reversal - but if it is posted and your issue was it was not posted why would you reverse it to re-post?
