Each time one of the records mentioned in the subject is close an activity is created. What is the use for theses activities and can we delete them without consequences ?

Best regards.

Youcef

    Hi Drew,

First of all let me wish you a very happy new year and apologies for the delay answering you.

As a matter of fact I found out what it was all about, thanks to an olld collegue of mine.

There are three system entities (closing opportunity, command and quote) that are fed automatically when one of the three mentionned entities records are closed.

Closing activities are created and would allow to make request on closind dates and/or real amount.

Aparently you can only delete their records manualy or by setting a workflow.

    Best regards.

    Youcef

Hi Youcef, did this help?  If so can you verify?

    Thanks much,

    Hi Youcef,

I think what is being created is a post record, not an activity right?   You can configure the Activity Feed rules in Settings and turn off the post for the close of an opportunity (won / lost) and other entities.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
