How to use a mixture of Windows client and web client

Hi folks,

I need your help again:

We use both the web client and the Windows client.

When using the web client, we have noticed that there are incorrect data constellations in the background, but this is not the case in the Windows client.

For this reason, I prefer the Windows client.

However, it is now easier for users to work via the web client than via the Windows client.

Is there any way I can make the one page that is necessary for recording the times accessible in another way without the users having to open the Windows client? We also have many Mac users who can't use NAV on their computers anyway.

I'm thinking of a kind of shortcut that I can call up and that only contains the one page for filling. Something like that.

Thank you ;)
I have the same question (0)

Hi, what is the specific problem?
For example, what data on which page is inaccurate?
If this is a standard issue, you can submit an SR to Microsoft and let them assist in the investigation.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    Hello Yun,

the problem is that we have to different behaviours of NAV between the webclient and the Windows Client.

The page we are using is a cutomized page, so no standard.

Also Excel could be a solution, if is possible to insert the data to page automtically.

I am open for any ideas to make the page somehow accessible (Excel?!).

    Thank you.

So is it possible to develop two different pages, one for Web Client and one for Windows Client? The table in the background can be the same.
Although this is a bit complicated and risky, I think this may solve your problem.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.
    ZHU
