RDLC - Sales Quote Full Page Terms and Conditions

Posted on by 16

Hi all. Wanted to check to see if anyone using Business Central on-premise had any luck adding a full page of Terms and Conditions to a Sales Quote. I've seen other threads from over the years where it won't work. If we put the Terms as a footer, they get split into two pages because of the header that either prints or leaves blank space in its place. If we move the entire report to the body and add a page break for the Terms they print on a single page, but the subtotal, discounts and grand total of the quote can print across multiple pages depending upon how many lines the quote has. Neither is a good scenario. Anyone have any other ideas? Since we are emailing the quotes printing two reports at the same time prompts us to save a pdf for each report so no easy quick email option for two reports unless I'm missing something.

Thank you Suresh. I'm going to ask another of our Developers to help me try that next week.

As you mentioned it creates lot of blank space for the header if you add them, what I started doing is store the terms and conditions pdf in a location and then add an action on the sales order or quote to convert the quote to PDF and then merge that document with Terms and conditions page. This way they can always update terms and conditions without modifying the report. I used PDFTkServer to combine or merge files.
