Deleting accounts and work orders

Hello,

I am trying to delete all work orders and account from a test environment. I know that in order to delete the accounts I need to delete the WO, but when I try to delete the WO I get an error regarding dependencies. I have deleted the bookings that are related to said WO, but I still cannot delete the WO.

Am I missing something?

    What exception do you get?

    Hi

Please check Actuals records (which is related to Work Order entity) because its behavior is Restrict Delete.

    Hi,

I do not understand. Can you explain?

Actuals are the related records for Work Order.

If there is any Actuals record available for the Work Order record, you cannot delete WO.

So Delete the related Actuals record first then delete the WO records.

You need to delete other dependent records as well.

Go in advanced find and select the resource requirements entity. Run find and delete all resource requirements. After that you might able to delete the work orders. Alternatively if lots of resource requirements, you could configure a bulk delete job to remove them.

On the top right in the Navigation bar is a + Symbol, to the right of it is another filter like button.

    Hi Dorin,

A simple way to check all the dependencies of a WO is : go to customizarions->customize the system->go to WO entity ->Click on Show Dependencies -> in this, check all the dependencies of type entity relationship. This would tell you which other entity records might be associated with the WO. On such dependency would be Resource requirement. To delete a particular WO, you need to delete the associated Resource Requirement record. Below are the screenshots. Hope this helps! Mark as verified if it is helpful:)
