Error: "Cannot write the value xxx to the field client.." in Navision 2018

I would like to know, in Customer card, my user would like to change the no to another no., but this error prompts. I have checked that the name wasn't too long. I wonder was it becuase there is already value in this customer's ledger hence we no longer can change the no. value?

    As I can see the Error is not the standard system error, its due to some development already done in the system which is causing the problem.

    Can you please contact your developer to check if they done something on the customer card or any Event is raising by using debugging?
