Adjust exchange rate using accounts with Posting groups

Hello,

I'm working with BC on premise W1 V.14. When I run the Adjust exchange rate task, it gives me an error. When I delete posting groups from GL accounts, I can run the task with no bugs.

Is there a way of running the task without having to delete posting groups from GL accounts?

What gain do you have with them? The accounts that receive the adjustments shouldn’t be appearing on documents or be needed for calculating tax. To my understanding the accounts which receive updates are either against the currency record, a bank account or a control account. None of which need general or product posting groups

Hi! Thank you for your answer. I have accounts with posting groups since I have accounts used for FULL VAT calculations. Not the ones used in the currency setup, but in the chart of accounts.

How can I handle this?
