    Hi Peter,

Please refer to section 3.3 (step 4) of the Zetadocs Express Installation Guide for info on how to specify the Zetadocs Archive Service Address.

Please be aware that you are not specifying a folder location on the Zetadocs General Settings page, instead you specify the service address. This service address will include the server name that you have installed the Zetadocs Archive Service on (http://<servername>/ZetadocsArchive). This web service is responsive to manage the archiving and retrieval from the shared network folder (which must be called "Zetadocs Archive").

    I hope that helps.

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

If I have to access the wsdl service address with public URL, what should I have to do.? I am not able to start service after editing the config file. The service doesn't have an IIS entry that i can bind it with my web URL.

    Hi friends,

i am searching the forum, and i find this thread quite similar with my problem.

I have zetadocs express installed on Windows Azure VM, and i can use the zetadocs well on NAV Client inside VM.I am using the NavUserPassword credential.

But when i connect using NAV Client on my laptop, it gives me error :

Could not connect to SharePoint site: http://idnav1302/ZetadocsArchive.

The SharePoint site is invalid or unavailable.
Please ensure your SharePoint site is available and that your SharePoint site settings are correct.

Failed to initialize SharePoint site to: http://<servername>/ZetadocsArchive.
Please ensure your SharePoint site is available and that your SharePoint site settings are correct.

I am aware that this because i can't access to the Zetadocs archive service from outside VM. How do i enable this ? Is there any port i need to open on azure VM (endpoint) for Zetadocs Archive Service ? or is there any settings?

    Thanks in advance

    Best Regards,

    Hery Halim

    Hi David

I have specified the service address (public URL) as per section 3.3 (step 4) of the Zetadocs Express Installation Guide and have restarted the NAV server instance. I am able to upload documents from a remote web client, however download file does not work and still points to the intranet address. Do you throw some light on what else is missing ?

    Regards

    Guna

you need an external (!) ip address / uri for your network folder.

    Hi Jon

I have specified the external ip (public url) on the general setting page, however download file still points to the intranet address which was specified earlier. Wondering if there is any other setup required?

    Regards

    Guna

    Hi Jon

I did a debug and found that the Zetadocs component was always returning the intranet url. I have managed to put to in a small modification to replace the strings in the URL.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    Guna

    Hi guna,

I am facing the same problem. I can upload the file to the Zetadocs Archive folder , but when i try to open the file, it return to me an intranet url. Therefore, i got an error.

I have make sure that the zetadocs general setting has been set to

http://<ip public>/ZetadocsArchive  (the NAV is installed on Azure VM).

can you point me where i need to do the url modification ?

    thanks.

    Hi Hery

You need to modify Name - OnDrillDown() on Zetadocs Web Rel. Docs. Page (9041211). I reckon this issue happens when server address is changed after the initial configuration.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards

    Guna
