Hello all,
 
I'm into Implementation project which gets data from various sources and I've to use our out of the box templates/packages to import those data. So required a document or any source stuff which explains different scenarios on Data migration from various sources to D365 F&O.
 
Ex: scenario's like
 
1. How to handle the table schema difference 
2. How to handle the dimensions table
3. Do we need to extend the entities, if the source tables are customized or can handle without extending
4. Can we use the OData for bulk data import from ADF (Azure data factory), or we've to use only data entities with templates & packages
 
and so on...

    In the scenario of data migration, you can consider methods such as data management frameworks. If existing entities do not match, you can consider customizing data entities. The following are links about data migration in FO:
