Hi Becatcho,
Why is the sales tax group required in the sales tax payment report?
What is the business requirement for that?
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig
Actually its requirements by TAX authority as report format ,also Sales tax codes seems confusing since its unknown why sales tax code is divided over more than line as below
you need some customization, you can back to a developer
Hi Mahmoud
Any advice how to customization ? I have add sort code and add the field to the section TaxTrans however still no data coming .
Do your really have to send this report to your tax authority?
Before modifying the report clarify with your accountants because in my home country we send an electronic file of that report to the tax office. The report is just used for controlling purposes.
Before adjusting this report please ensure that this is actually the one that will be send later on.
About the sales tax codes:
Is it possible that the lines that seemingly include duplicate codes actually include different ones that are cut by the length of the first report column?
Dear Ludwig
Its electronic form to fill into VAT website ,however they require you to fill your sales and purchases as separate according to VAT % according to the VAT grouping rather than sales VAT codes . about your question I'm not sure ... but is Axapta can produce VAT according to VAT groups wise ?
Any update?
Do I understand you correctly when I say that your accountants print the tax report and then manually enter the data shown in the Report manually in the VAT Website online form?
Yes correct where they will find web form to fill into VAT groups figurs .
About the report:
AX2009 does not have a very good report that includes all the information you are looking for.
Probably the easiest and fastest way to retrieve the data that you have to report in the way you described is filtering the tax transactions in the tax inquiry form in GL, exporting it to Excel and then doing a summary with the help of a Pivot chart.
