printing with HP deskjet 3000

Posted on by 65

When printing from GP to a HP deskjet 3000 series where the right edge of the document gets cut as can be seen in the scan document.

I changed the driver but it still cuts it off. If I print to our other printer, it prints fine.

Can you advise if I need to use A4 or letter size paper. If not do I re-align the form in RW.

Are you using the printer locally, or redirected over an RDP connection or Remote App connection?  We had this issue with redirected printers, and fixed it by loading updated drivers directly on the terminal server.

A lot of the HP printers have default margins set via the menu setup on the printer itself. That setting will override anything sent from the application that prints. I would check the manual and see if there is a way to change the default margin to something that will work. If not, you are correct that you would need to re-align in RW.
