Is there a way to assign "*@domain.com" to a singular contact or account so that any email from that domain is tracked by that entity?

We get a lot of emails from one specific vendor that uses a seemingly random, although it's probably ticket based, method for what their "from" email address is.  For instance, just this morning I received three different emails from three different email addresses.  Rather than create a new contact for every different sender, I am looking for a way to just automatically track any and all email from that vendor's domain under one singular entity, either contact or account, it really does not matter.

Anyone know of a way to do this?

I can think of 2 ways you should be able to do this:

    1. Use folder-based tracking. I'm not certain, but I think you could create an Exchange rule to move the emails into the folder automatically
    2. Write a plugin on the pre-event to identify emails from this domain, and change the email address to the one for the vendor
