Post-installation checklist / Sanity Testing - AX 2009

Hi All,

Our organisation is transitioning its servers(HW) from one partner to another, and so we would be doing fresh installs for all our environments. And then obliviously will restore the DB's etc.

But while we are at it, I would like to touch base with you guys in case any one has a compiled list of Post-installation checklist for sanity testing? I have gone through the "MS Installation Document" but could not find much information when it comes to post-installation steps.

if some one already has a compiled list and would not mind sharing, that'd be awesome.

Also, a quick question on the same topic. What would happen to document handlers? As both the 'AX' and the new 'Path to save' servers would be new... would the previous linkages get broken? And the old documents would not be visible anymore?

If so, how can we get around this situation...?
