Shift F9 apply entries hot key doesn't work

Posted on by 25

Nav 2009 sp1 classic on Win XP.

In sales or cash receipt journal, shift F9 usually opens the apply entries form. For all users except one it does. Short of trashing the zup file for this one user, is there any reason why this shortcut shouldn;t work ?

Physically the shift and f9 keys work on the keyboard. The short cut works for all other users.

I've fount the reason. for my sake it's because i've installed snagit..  That overrules the nav. shortcuts..  so if you also have that peter, check the shortcuts in the program. and remove it.. then it works..  hope it helps..

I am having the same issue..   It started 1 week ago.. before i had no problems.. I've checked everything.. and I even got a new keyboard from It. Eventhough i didn't expect it to be the issue..

    Hello Peter,

Thank you for posting on the Microsoft Forum.

I completed research in the internal support database for Dynamics NAV but I have come up empty on finding information on a cause for one machine having issues with the shift-F9.  My first instinct would be to make sure that the build is the same for the system files on the one machine as the rest of the machines in the network.  Once confirmed, if the issue still exists, then I would have to recommend an uninstall and reinstall of the Dynamics NAV client on the one machine, and make sure that the current network build is updgraded to on the single, problem machine.

These are my only thoughts. I'm not sure if others in the community have dealt with the issue, but these would be recommendations to consider.

    Best Regards

    Tom
