Hi -
Does anyone know what the DTA_GL_STATUS represent in table GL table GL20000 and GL30000. The various statuses I see are: 0, 4, 32, and 40.
Thanks!
Oumar

Hi Leslie & Beat,
Thanks for your input. Based on your replies, I don't think it's a field that I should consider for what the IT people are trying to achieve. The fact that it's not a field that is wildly used in the GP community makes me believe it's not that "useful", except maybe for the multidimensional analysis that Leslie mentioned.
Thanks again!
Hi Beat,
The 'DTA' abbreviation has been used for the Multidimensional Analysis tables. I didn't look at the DTA tables, but there may be a tie in there.
Kind regards,
Leslie
Oumar,
I see your point... though I don't know how BI360 works internally, we do had to create our own scripts for Prophix (Budgeting SW) to pull the actuals from Dynamics GP.. I'm not sure this field will be of any help for your IT team.. I'd rather look into some existing scripts to pull the data. Have a look at Victoria Yudin's blog, as she has already produced a great deal of SQL scripts to fill most gaps left by the standard GP views:
Hi Beat - My IT guys are using BI360 to run queries/reports. They're looking to do a location/distribution/vendor open transactions query, and they asked to provide an explanation of what the DTA_GL_STATUS represents.
Hi Oumar,
Unfortunately the GP SDK doens't provide any insight or hints about this field (which also exists in ASIEXP12, a smartlist table).
The only values I could find across all my data were :
DTA_GL_STATUS
0
1
2
40
42
