67I've spent some time diving through the learning portals Microsoft set up for Application Language, but it is truly so awful.
Are there any third-party sources for learning AL that have some type of learning path?
Microsoft's documentation is riddled with vague instructions and documentation. Attempting to do any exercise, requires extensive extra research for beginners. It assumes the people using the beginner AL portals, already know AL.
I've had a few instances of trying to solve business problems with AL, and although the ideas around it are simple, building out the solutions as a beginner is not. I have worked in Java and C# and had nowhere near as many problems getting started. I get continuous syntax errors in VScode, but the errors have no information and often don't actually lead you in the right direction.
