Cash drawer won't pop after printing receipt

Transitioned to RMS from Quicksell.  New system is configured with an Epson TM-T88V connected via USB using OPOS driver, and MMF Heritage 240 drawer (printer driven via MMF 226-199EPST10-00 cable).

Drawer pops when tested via Epson OPOS SetupPOS Ver 2.0.  Drawer also pops when tested using RMS 'Configure Microsoft OPOS Service Objects'.  Drawer does not pop after printing a receipt for a Sale, No Sale, Drop/Payout, or anything from POS Station.

Register list is configured for Printer 1, Drawer 1, & drawer name matches with OPOS. Tenders have checkmark for pop drawer, and Cashier Properties has Drawer #1 selected for each cashier.  I am out of ideas and haven't found a previous answer in the forum.

Using Windows 7 and RMS 2.0.  Two computers, one POS Station.  Receipt format includes a logo.  Suggestions?

If that cash drawer cable plugs into the back of printer (RJ11 connector), delete the RMS OPOS object you created for the drawer, and use the Epson OPOS driver to add the cash drawer.

Test the cash drawer from the Epson OPOS driver, If working, enter the Epson OPOS name for the cash drawer under the register properties and try POS again.

If still not working try the Standard drawer option under Epson OPOS instead of Multi_A.

This solved my problem.  The Epson name for the drawer was 'Drawer', and the RMS OPOS Object name was 'drawer'.  Once I changed the Cash Drawer 1 name to 'Drawer' in Register list, the drawer immediately popped when printing a receipt.  (Previously I had named Cash Drawer 1 as 'drawer', so it would be compatible with RMS OPOS Object.  Apparently case matters.)

Thanks to RMS Wizard for the quick and accurate reply.
