Error while quarantine order split- 0.00 cannot be picked because only -20.00 is/are available from the inventory.

Hi,

product: AX 2012 R3

Scenario:

I have created a PO for an item and made Product receipt.

Quarantine Order is created automatically for QC location.

While inspecting, out of 20 pcs I found 2 pcs defective

Now I want to split the quarantine order as 18 and 2.

But when I click on the functions- split in the quarantine order, I get an error physical on hand is not available.

If anyone has come across such error, kindly let me know the solution

    I think you don't need to split the qty. You can update only QC passed qty.

    Do you have any quality order setup...? I believe that you are trying to split the order in quarantine form.  Can you please verify the on-hand status of the item by enabling all the storage dimensions...?

    so the stock is still booked to the QC location I assume. Has the PO been raised against the QC location?

    Yes I am trying to split the quarantine order. When I check the on-hand status, quantity is shown in QC warehouse -Physical available and Physical reserved.

    I will show you physical available in QC warehouse and reserved against the Quarantine order. Check any order is marked against that QC qty. Also Verify the quarantine order related setup made in Item model group. 

    In my case I have one qty in quarantine warehouse. And reserver against that quarantine order. Similarly check if you have any other transaction for the same inventory. And I can post it easily.
