Cannot add duplicate label to label dictionary.

Hello,

I have an issue when trying to import a solution from test environment to production environment.

error message:

Message An error has occurred. Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support.
Entity   Incident Case Case Service request case associated with a contract. Failure 0x80040216 Cannot add duplicate label to label dictionary.

The issue is that when trying to export any solution containing at least a field and importing back (production environment) is failing.

Any help is appreciated.

    Are you using on-premise ? If so , could you please check CRM server windows event viewer log , you will get the details error .

    As per the error, you have some labels in your prod environment and solution import is trying to create them again, resulting in duplicates.

    At the end, get help from professionals by raising a support ticket.

    Hi

    I would try the following to make sure the issue is only with Case entity

    Create a new solution and add a different entity Account or Contact or a Custom entity with a field and export and import and see if it fails.

    You could consider deleting duplicate label but normally you will get duplicate localized label error, not the one you are getting.  This makes me think, it could potentially be a bug. Have you updated your CRM recently and I would also check if TEST and PROD application and DB are on the same version?

    One other thing you could try is to create new Org via Deployment manager and import the solution on that and see if you get the same error.

    One other thing I would check is the Entity Messages - have you modified any translations?
