Dremaq,
You've got a bit of a job ahead of you. You will not be able to do this in all one step. Search Customer/PartnerSource for update paths and you can download the version and build paths for the upgrades. Just knowing the version is NOT good enough, you need to be very careful of the builds.
There is no direct upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013. You must first upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 to either Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 or 2010 and then upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013.
In addition to the Dynamics GP versions, you will need to be wary of the operating system and SQL server version. So, record everything you've got now so that you can step through the updates with the minimum number of steps. It's all documented. Take your time and get some assistance from an experienced partner. Test it first, this isn't something to do first on production.
Kind regards,
Leslie
Hi Dremaq,
Leslie listed the general rules for the upgrade from GP 8 to 2013. This link from the Microsoft GP Support blog goes more into the details about what needs to be done, especially when it comes to the SQL server :

Good luck with you upgrade project.
We worked with our partner and successfully upgraded from GP8 to GP2013 in November of 2014. Please feel free to call me or email me if you have any specific questions.

Leslie and Béat have both provided lots of great information on this issue. I do highly recommend doing a test upgrade prior to upgrading the live environment in case you run into any issues. There have been a lot of table changes since 8 to GP 2013.
