Hi:

I know that there is a posting date range that you can specify for users in User Setup.

Also, I know that there are posting date ranges in the General Ledger Setup.

But, is there a way of controlling posting to inventory on a per user basis?

Hello,

You can't control posting of just inventory module on a user basis.

There is "Inventory Periods" function, but it is apply by period and not by user.

Controlling Posting Dates for Inventory

Hi, in BC, you can close Inventory Periods to prevent the posting of items. At this time, the General Journal can be posted, but the Item Journal cannot.
