GP HITB Report vs HITB Excel Report Builder

Dear All,

I have builded a Excel report using Tools- SmartlistBuilder->Excel Report Builder.  The product I selected is HITB Report, Series - Inventory, Table-Inventory Transaction History Detail and builded the excel.  The excel work fine and brings all the required coulmn with values.  And I have checked randomly some item of this with HITB Report from GP- Inventory - Activity - HITB.  But overall the total has difference of around 30K.  My total is around 3 M.  On both of this report I havent given any restrictions so it should match correctly.  Am I missing anything please help me.

    Unposted transactions are not included in the HITB report, unposted IV transactions are recorded in IV10000 and IV10001. Once you post, the transactions are recorded in (IV10200, IV10201, IV30300 and SEE30303)

    Hi Mahmoud,

    I will do this and let you know.  I have one more question on this whether either of the SEE3030  table directly or the Activity -> HITB report is exclude or include non posted transactions.

    Dear Mr. Babu

    Both reports; Excel Report considering HITB product and HITB report (Activity > Historical Inventory Trial Balance), retrieve data from the exact same source which is SEE30303. Therefore, there should be no variance at all.

    In order to further ensure the quality of the report, run a simple select statement on the SEE30303 table for a specific item, site combination and check both the quantity and cost total.
