SalesLineBackOrderListPage keep filter value for each user

Hi,

by default - as far as I know - each time you run SalesLineBackOrderListPage, the default value for date filter is today. Many users request me to keep the last value they typed. The form came from a template. So, customization by code is restricted or I don't know how to access. I tried to change property SaveFilter to Yes (in Group Filter control) but the system go on show me today. Any one knows how to do that?

    Hi,

By default,  your query is set with the filter value today(). Please remove the range value from your query and try again.

This is not the cause. No range with today value. I think @Crispin John Augustine is close to the solution or to detect what it happens.

Hi, I think that the problem is the filter is not stored fine. I have two versions of this form. One it works and the other doesn't. I debug the method you suggested and at the end the form calles getlastvalue(). In there the value restored was the good one (the form which works) and the other the value is today. I expect that savefilter option does something but it looks like something miss.

I have two forms based on this template. Both has same configuration. One works and the other doesn't. Both use this class. It looks like another kind of problem.

    Roger,

The template doesn't drive the logic of showing the data, you need to take a look at the interaction class like Crispin mentioned.

of courser I did. They looks like follow the same path in the execution. Is it normal they use same class? Or I need to generate new class for each form?

    Hi,

I solved but not clear yet. Let me explain me. I create new SalesLineBackOrderListPageInteraction. In initializing the system save filter with today date. I comment this part and it works. What I don't understand is the other form use same class and at the beginning he saves filter but then get the properly value. For the moment I will use this approach. Thank you for your advise.
