While looking for some journal entries details, i found several mysterious un-posted entries without a specific date [1900-01-01 00:00:00.000]. What is the safest way of doing it.

I really appreciate the help and support from all the contributors. Removing the batches did the task.

Is this settled ?
Your feedback is highly appreciated,
Hi Abdu!
If you are able to remove the batches through the front end of Dynamics GP that would be the supported method, really the only time that you would want to even remove the records from the back end in SQL is if you are unable to from the front end of GP.
As Redbeard has mentioned if you decide to remove the data from SQL you will want to have a backup of the database. You would want to make sure to remove the unwanted data from the GL10000(Transaction Work)/GL10001(Transaction Amounts work) and the SY0500(Batch header tables).
Please let us know if you have any other questions on this!

Mahmoud and I have both expressed concern when a user desires to delete data from the database, when there is a clear alternative to doing so (i.e. deleting a batch from GP).
Of course, this doesn't stop users from deleting information from table, which is dangerous, bad practice in general and should be used as a last resort. You will need to make sure you have a backup, and remove all related data from GL10000, GL10001 and SY00500 tables. Refer to this post:
community.dynamics.com/.../306214.aspx
You must be very careful to remove only and all of the data you are targeting.
How would you assume that these are corrupted entries ? Supposing they are corrupted and needs to be deleted, aren't you able to delete the batch from the application level ?
Thanks for your interest, There are some batches with bachnumb Temp, Temp-I, Temp-II containing such entries. Normal Entries have proper title with sequenced entries as shown in the fog above.
Hello A Razzak
In Dynamics GP, the default value for the field is usually (1900-01-01 00:00:00.000) which logically means zero. You will find this value in several tables and several fields if they have not been used yet. For instance, In GL10000 it is usual to have the RVRSNGDT as (1900-01-01 00:00:00.000) since there is no reversing date.
For the specific table you mentioned (GL10001), what are the fields with this date ? it is normal to see these dates under EXCHDATE if the saved journal entry with the functional currency.
