Can we run GP through our own website_domain / Web_domain via Web Client ?

Hi All,

Actually our client wants to open GP through that own domain name like XYZ.com [Web domain] via Web client is it possbile that ? if yes then please let me know how to create a such type of environment

a.) where should install the web client ?

b.) where should install Dynamics GP [any Physical server or Other] ?

Please give me suggestion i am new in web client so i have more & more confusion about such type of environment because client wants to run GP through web browser from any location and system.

Regarding how and where to install the web client and GP, I would refer to the manual provided by Microsoft for installation and setup (link is below, you will need a CustomerSource or PartnerSource login).

As long as the custom web domain points to the public IP address of the IIS server where the web client is installed, they will be able to use that. You'll have to check with the domain registrar as to how to point the domain there as every registrar is slightly different. It will need an "A record" pointing to the public IP.
