Hi

Hopefully I have simply missed something easy here, but I have just added a new store to the system but the information in the HQ ItemDynamic table is not updating with the new stores stock levels, committed stock etc when the Data Upload Worksheet runs to pull the data from the new store.

Any suggestions to point me in the right direction what I have missed would be great

Many Thanks

Martin

    Hi

Yea I have connected to the Local database and in Item table I can see all the quantities and the ItemType is set to 0 (standard inventory), and I have the 401 Worksheet polling every 20 mins, and I know the 401 is working as the sales data is populating in to the HQ Transaction/Batch tables.

I was going to run a 501 and 190 tonight to request and reconcile the stock quantities between HQ and the stores however I don't know if this will kick the new store to update correctly when they start selling again tomorrow.

Many thanks again and for your quick response.

Did you export the the store from the HQ Admin?

Did you perform the initial sync of the store with HQ?

If you change prices at HQ and process a Worksheet 250 for that store, do prices update?

Have you done any stock or inventory transactions at the store like a PO or Transfer?  Do you see that replicate from the store to HQ?

    Hi

Once again thanks for your time, response to your questions below:

No I created a Store Template and copied this for each store (changed the multi store id as I went to each store) I used this in the initial setup for 12 stores and all worked fine, this is my first new store since the initial setup 6 months ago, and I must have missed something stupid.

Yes the initial sync (101) was performed and looking in the Store Manager -> Config it says the database is synced.

Yes if I send a 250 the prices at the store do update.

Yes PO's have been accepted at the store however these have not been replicated in the HQ!!

    What have I missed!!! Haha!!

    Many Thanks

    Hi JSG_MB.

I'm not sure which RMS version you're using. This might help. We're in version 2.0.1004

This was not available in version 2.0.0XXX

Try HQ Manager->Admin->Stores-> Open the store and edit any of fields.  Ex: You can add\update address field and press ok.  When you do that,

There is a background process happening where it copies all missing HQ Items from item master table to Itemdynamic table.  Weird workarounds by MS team! seriously,

For us it'is really irritating as this background process blocks all other process while searching the entire master. We have like 950K items in our HQ DB. Now we cant use front end screen to edit any store information.

    Cheers

    Hello Martin,

    Thank you for your question.

When you check the store table in the Headquarters database, does the store appear there?

Please note that we recommend exporting out store database from Headquarters Administrator, rather than copying a template database at each location and manually changing store IDs.

I would suggest that you export out this store database from Headquarters Administrator, restore it at the store level and see if the issue continues after this.

    Thank you,

This is very interesting to read..  I am having similar issue in where a stores dynamic table does not have an item that the store says it has.  And if the above is true then it should be updated from said process.  But I can tell you that is not occurring all the time or working properly..  Because I have two stores who's dynamic tables are not updating from master.  2.0.2020 build.
