Scanned Invoices & Other Back-Up Docs a click away in Dynamics GP 2010 and/or GP 2013?

I am interested in moving my current client as far away from paper as possible. Right now, when there is "forensic" work taking place to figure out "who, what, why, etc." someone has to go pull the hard copy of the invoice and the back-up docs. Scanning in the invoice and any back-up material associated with the financial transaction in question is a chore, but I think the benefits far outweigh the cost. We would want to scan in contracts for easy access as well. Has anyone had experience with this type of thing and could you share some of your experiences with best-in-class paperless solutions that work well with GP 2010 and/or GP 2013? Thanks in advance!

There are so many solutions. Personally, I have worked with PaperSave, and KwikTag.

In addition to PaperSave and KwikTag, which are both great products, you have Altec's doc-Link and if I'm not mistaken, I think Microsoft is going to be introducing this functionality native in GP in the not-to-distant future. Do you recall that Leslie?

Docuware also has a nice GP add-in that will file your journals by month by module.

Additionally, I would recommend Metaviewer - Paperless ERP

I have attended several webinar for Metaviewer, seen the powerful functionality it provides for Microsoft Dynamics GP. It's an absolute choice that any one would think of when it comes to paperless solutions for Microsoft Dynamics GP.

WOW! Thanks for all the suggestions, folks! I really want an add-on that is fully sanctioned by Microsoft and is literally a "click away" from the inquiry screens in GP. So it would need a super-tight coupling with the back-end of GP to meet my needs. I will take a look into the suggestions offered so far to see if they fit that bill. And Frank, I love this comment: "I think Microsoft is going to be introducing this functionality native in GP in the not-to-distant future"- I mean, why wouldn't they? Anyone reading this have anything else on this scoop?

In GP2013, which we've just installed at my employer's, there is an attachment functionality that is designated by a paperclip icon similar to that on an email message, located within the transaction entry window, etc. VERY nice feature, way overdue.

They do have a Document Attach feature for some SOP and POP windows in GP 2013 version.

The shortfall for it is, if you have a lot of paper documents you need to attach to corresponding documents in GP it's kind of hard to sort through and pick which goes where.

We use PaperSave, and barcode system will tell, what goes where, the service on the background will sort through everything and store it. However, I wouldn't exactly call it Paper"Save", since we need to print unique barcode cover for each document, on paper :)
