Hi Everyone,
I have created trial environments for Dynamics 365 Sales in the past, and every time I create a trial, I'm given the option to choose a domain name (domainname.onmicrosoft.com) as well with which I can sign into my account.
But I tried to create a trial a few days back and all I get is the trial environment and am not asked the option to choose my domain name (i.e., 'How you'll sign in) option is not given. So now am not able to access any other apps from my Dynamics 365 page which requires a Microsoft domain address to sign in (eg. admin@domainname.onmicrosoft.com). So does anyone know what should I do to get a domain name?
Thanks!
Good to hear.
Hi Pradeep Rai,
I was able to fix this issue. For some strange reason, my 'All Users' option shows 0 users, but when I choose 'Enabled Users', I am able to see my admin user. And as you have mentioned here, the admin username has a domain name which was provided by default by MS. So even though I wasn't allowed to pick my domain name, I'm able to log into all my apps using this domain name which is good enough. So thanks a lot for your help!
Ok, thank you for your help Pradeep Rai. Maybe they have stopped offering domain names with D365 trials.
It was last option which I think. Good luck.
I tried that too, but it says its incorrect and that it is not in their system.
Thank you for sharing details. Can you try using below syntax.
admin@<your personal id complete>.onmicrsoft.com
For e.g.
If your email id abc123@gmail.com then it will be
admin@abc123gmailcom.onmicrosoft.com
Thank you for trying it out Pradeep Rai . I did as you said, but when I'm coming to the User page, I dont have any users in the list and I need to create a user. But when I'm clicking on Add and License User button, again its asking me for my account id and its not accepting the personal email id. Here is the screenshot....
Hi Diksha T
I tried few steps and now able to access Power App, Admin Pages etc.
1. Open your trial and Click Setting ICON then Click of Advance Settings - Here you will be re-directed to classic UI
2. Go to Settings-> Security -> User
3. Open your user and from below highlighted you will get email id with domain
4. Now, with this email id you can access all required Areas.
Note: May be you need to reset password when you use above email for first time.
After reset it works perfect.
Right. I am also facing the same.
Hi Pradeep,
Yes, this trial page is coming for me, but all other apps connected to it like Power Apps, Power Automate, Office, Admin page, all that requires you to have a domain id. Its not accepting personal email Ids.
